SENDING FILES

We can receive files via E-mail or CD. When using E-mail and sending multiple files simultaneously, please include your artwork as an attachment using compressed-self extracting “ZIPit” or “Stuffit” documents. E-mails over 8 megabytes require transmission via our FTP site. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your files for production, please email or call our graphic designer & prepress specialist, Justin Frank.

Artwork Submission & FTP Access

To access our FTP site, please visit: http://upload.carlsonprinting.com/

1) Log In (please contact us for login information)

2) Create a folder, using the name of your business or company.

3) Click the “Upload File(s)” link

NOTE: Reference the “Download Help” link if you experience difficulties.

Our offset commercial process is fully digital and our work-flow is based on working with files in PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. The PDF should be prepared at a high resolution, press quality.

  • Adobe InDesign (CS4 or earlier)
  • Adobe Illustrator (CS4 or earlier)
  • Adobe PhotoShop (CS4 or earlier)
  • MS Office (including MS Word & Publisher)
  • Quark Xpress (7.4)
